Science Fiction Books | Fantasy Books

When trying to create a list of recommendations it's often hard to know what criteria to use. Should I include books that are considered classics but which I personally didn't enjoy? What about the other direction, books I love but which most people haven't heard of? I've tried to strike a balance between these two, though I may have erred toward the former. Where available I've included links to pages about the specific authors or books.

Be warned: While I've taken suggestions from many other people in the construction of these lists, in the end they represent my personal opinions. If any other Enigmans want to construct their own recommended reading lists, send it to me and I'll add it here!
