The Silver Hammer

Brutus is the bodyguard of Yultan. Brutus is Strong of Arm, Sharp of Eye and Weak of Wit.

Brutus once worked as a lowly apprentice Smith in the Forges of Yultan. One day when Yultan was in need of a strong back and a weak mind, he recruited Brutus from his forge (where he was pounding out iron) to come with him and carry his baggage. Along the way Yultan was attacked by a terrible Demon. Brutus, being Strong of Arm and Weak of Wit, attacked the Demon and, surprisingly, defeated the evil foe. As a reward Yultan promoted Brutus to be his full-time Bodyguard and minion. In honor of his beginnings as a smith, Brutus still wears his leather apron and carries his forging hammer. However, Yultan, distressed by the filthy apron, with a wave of his hand changed the dirty leather apron into a snow-white apron with Brutus' sign on it, the Silver Hammer.
