Colonized in 2247 by a group of Scandinavians, Cimmer is an icy planet with an incredibly harsh, cold climate. Even worse, the native fauna proved to be large, aggressive, and quite hungry. The people of Cimmer developed into a rugged and ferocious group themselves, below human average in most technology, except in weaponry, at which they excel. Their current society is fragmented in a semi-feudal arrangement, dwelling in fortified communities, though there is little actual warfare--they have enough time fighting the local nasties.
